Indianapolis restaurant contractor on Mass Ave

Craft Construction Management delivered Bru Burger Bar at 410 Massachusetts Avenue, in the heart of the Mass Ave Cultural Arts District — a five-block stretch of theaters, galleries, and restaurants that Visit Indy calls one of the city's most fashionable addresses. Bru opened here in December 2011 and has since become an anchor on one of Indy's most-walked dining corridors.

The location required close coordination with Indianapolis Cultural Trail access, a pedestrian-first streetscape, and adjacent active businesses. As an Indianapolis commercial general contractor we handled ground-up interior construction, custom retractable awning fabrication, exterior facade restoration, and complete front- and back-of-house interior finishes — all phased to hit a hard opening date.

Bru Burger Mass Ave is part of the Cunningham Restaurant Group family — an operator we've partnered with on more than a dozen Indianapolis hospitality projects including Union 50, Mesh on Mass, The Bemberg, and BRU locations in South Bend and Bloomington. Each build leverages the same operator-aware construction playbook: phased work around service hours, tight kitchen and bar equipment coordination, and a finish schedule that ties to the marketing opening.
